The National - Conversation 16
The National is one of the many reasons why I worship Brooklyn. Their new record, High Violet, is slightly more upbeat than their previous, Boxer. This being said, the band manages to express a similar feeling of melancholy throughout the outstanding tracks on High Violet. Definitely this year’s first major must-hear.
